Lactation Services by Carrie DiSteffano, M.A. IBCLC

Breastfeeding, while natural, does come with challenges. New parents can be sleep-deprived, overwhelmed by conflicting information and often need breastfeeding assistance. Because parents may not know where to turn, Carrie feels fortunate to offer integrative lactation services and support at Whole Health Naturopathy.

    Carrie DiSteffano

Carrie became passionate about breastfeeding after working through her own struggles with her first child more than 10 years ago. She has been supporting breastfeeding families since 2012 and became an IBCLC in 2015.

She believes babies benefit from movement, fresh air, and being in close proximity to their caregiver(s). She’s passionate about assisting families with meeting their breastfeeding goals whether that is 3 days, 3 months or 3 years.

In addition to being a board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC), Carrie has completed a year-long holistic lactation program and is prepared and knowledgeable to address everything from the simple to complex breastfeeding problems.

Having the support of three knowledgeable physicians allows Carrie to dive deep into complicated parent-infant feeding situations including thyroid dysfunction, gut health, low milk supply, tethered oral tissues (tongue-tie), and hormone dysregulation.
